I’m just getting started :)

It’s happening! I am getting the website built to more easily share what I am up to and making. I also am setting up a section of the site to sell some of what I am making.

I now am the proud owner of the domain name meganfoster.art - I just need to edit some videos I have taken during some of my bobbin making process and upload. Probably wouldn’t hurt to look into setting up a YouTube channel to upload to as well so I can offload some of the storage space once the website gets too full. I really want to keep my promise to myself to record some of my progress and share it somewhere others will be able to see. I need some motivation to finish some of those work-in-progress pieces that have been banished to no man’s land after I get the next idea I can’t wait to start. Actually, that is not a bad idea to coincide with the bobbin lacemaking I have been working on - a list of projects to finish this year and my progress towards completion.

I also would just like to say I will not be letting the use of dashes disappear from my writing style just because of some stupid AI. I love the dash. Please know I will not be using AI if I can help it, and if the day comes that changes, I will be very transparent about it. Never would have thought my first post would need that disclaimer, but 2025 is a different beast.

Hopefully I get better at writing these posts so they are more intentional rather than a more continuous thought type of structure, but for now this feels like a great start. I can’t get better if I don’t start somewhere!
